We take our responsibility to our customers, their comfort and their safety very seriously. If you’re visiting the venue and have any concerns about accessibility please see our FAQs below or get in touch via our contact page.

Wheelchair Access

The venue has a gently-sloped entrance for wheelchair users to access the venue and there is ground floor access to our performance space, bar area and adaptable toilets.

Companion Tickets

We recognise that people with accessibility requirements may need to have someone with them. For this, we offer a free ticket to personal assistants / carers. Please book your ticket online and then email your booking reference number to info@kubar.co.uk with a note that you require a companion ticket.

We may require proof of eligibility for companion tickets and we may request supporting documentation. If documentation is not provided, your companion ticket may not be approved.
Accepted documents include (but are not limited to:
Personal Independence Payment (PIP)
Disability Living Allowance (DLA)
Carer’s Allowance
Blue Badge (both sides)
Blind or partially sighted registration certificates
Benefit award letters
UK Access Card (+1 symbol)
Letters from medical professionals (GP, occupational therapist, etc.)

Please note: We recommend you request a companion ticket straight away after booking – events may sell out in advance and we will have no space to send you a ticket.

Seating

Please be aware our performance space is standing only. We are a small grassroots venue and due to the existing structure of the building we don’t have the space to provide a significant seated area. We understand that some people may feel uncomfortable standing for the entirety of a performance so we can to provide a stool for you upon request.
